Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course, the learner:

  • Understands and uses everyday expressions and basic phrases.
  • Can introduce themselves and others, ask and answer questions about personal details (e.g., where someone lives, people they know, and things they own).
  • Can communicate in a simple way if the other person speaks slowly, clearly, and is prepared to help.
  • Understands familiar words and expressions relating to themselves, their family, and immediate surroundings.
  • Can write short texts and fill in basic forms (e.g., hotel registration).
  • Uses essential vocabulary and expressions on the following topics: introductions, people, professions, clothes, food, leisure, events, everyday life, travel, transport, shopping, lifestyle, etc.

Teaching Methods – English A1 Face2Face

The course places strong emphasis on spoken English, using vocabulary relevant to everyday life.

Skills are practised during lessons with the teacher and peers through real-life dialogues and work-related situations.

Learners develop skills in reading, listening, speaking, writing, and appropriate use of language.

The learning process is engaging, enjoyable, and emotionally rewarding.


Learning Environment

The teacher is provided with a computer, whiteboard, CD/DVD player, speakers, and internet access.

Learning spaces meet all safety standards and offer natural lighting and a comfortable atmosphere.


Teacher Competence

All instructors hold a higher education degree (MA or equivalent), recognised teaching qualifications, and experience in teaching English to adult learners.


Independent Study – English A1 Face2Face

Learners reinforce vocabulary, read short texts, write simple reports and emails, complete assignments, and solve tests independently.

Feedback is provided by the teacher; the learner maintains a progress portfolio.


Assessment, Completion Criteria & Certification

  • Proficiency corresponds to level A1 according to the CEFR portfolio.
  • Final test includes writing, listening, reading, and speaking.
  • Certificate is awarded upon completion of at least 75% of lessons and achieving 60% or higher on the final test.
  • Participants also receive a written confirmation of course attendance.
